The session will provide an overview of the UK’s general insurance market – who uses it, how it operates, how its products are distributed, the primary laws that apply to it and the way in which it is regulated. The session will examine the three main stakeholder groups: Purchasers, Manufacturers and Distributors. Consideration will also be given to the legal and regulatory framework surrounding the UK insurance industry, taking into account key regulatory and legislative developments.
