Mentoring in a Coaching Style

An intensive and interactive one day course for anyone within a formal Mentoring role or with the responsibilities to ‘buddy’ a new or existing individual.

The aim of this one-day workshop is to raise awareness and understanding of what coaching and mentoring is and how to get the most from your mentoring sessions. This course will enable you to learn how to mentor successfully in a coaching style and approach.

Mentoring plays an essential role in organisations and along side coaching it can enhance professional development, motivation, performance and empower individuals to undertake important projects they may otherwise not feel able or skilled to do.

By the end of the day you will:

  • Know what your role is as a mentor and the likely expectations your mentee will have

  • Have practiced mentoring and coaching with at least one other person
