SEARCHLIGHT UNVEILS EXTENSIONS TO TICK E-LEARNING SYSTEM AT BIBA (April 2005)

The UK’s leading insurance training company Searchlight today launched two significant extensions to its market-leading e-learning system Tick.

• new reporting capabilities for training managers, and
• new IT courses covering leading Microsoft applications

Responding to user feedback, Searchlight has now introduced new reporting tools for broker training administrators (managers and masters of training groups). These provide the functionality that allows managers to download reports directly in Excel spreadsheets.

Searchlight managing director Ian Jerrum comments: “This new reporting functionality significantly extends the reporting options available to training managers and makes report generation, simpler, quicker and more powerful.

“Managers will also now be able to produce reports archived by year – simplifying the record keeping process that is so critical to proving FSA compliance on training and competence.”

Searchlight has also added four new ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) programmes at intermediate level for Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Further programmes at introductory and advanced level will be added shortly, which will enable users to prepare for ECDL qualification.
