SEARCHLIGHT WINS IiP ACCREDITATION (February 2005)
The UK’s leading insurance training and competence company, Searchlight, has become the first company in its sector to qualify for Investors in People (IiP) accreditation. IiP is awarded to companies who recognise the value of employees, provide effective training and support for their staff, and have a culture that actively engages and motivates personnel at all levels.
Managing director Ian Jerrum comments: ‘We see achieving IiP accreditation as a significant milestone in our drive to confirm Searchlight’s position as the most professional and well-run training provider specialising in the insurance sector. It is only by retaining and developing highly skilled and motivated staff that we can consistently deliver the high standards our customers have a right to expect.
‘IiP is an increasingly widely recognised indicator of business professionalism. A growing number of our customers have committed themselves to the IiP process, and I believe that more and more professionally run organisations are coming to see it as an important attribute in companies they choose to do business with. I am delighted for all our managers, trainers and support staff that we have attained IiP – and would like to put on record my warm appreciation for all the hard work that has gone into bringing this about.’
