Employee Relations |
Implementation of changes to employment policies and practices to ensure fairness and lawful conduct, including keeping the Board advised of forthcoming changes (and their impact) in employment law. Facilitation of an environment to enable the achievement of the workforce consultation provisions. Ensuring the creation and communication of an up to date organisational chart. Adherence to the firm's communication strategy and implementation this in relation to the dissemination of employment related matters. Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of employment policies with constructive use of the employment handbook and company intranet. Implementation and maintenance of an effective discipline and grievance system in line with statutory provisions. Conducting of regular staff surveys, as required. Provision of advice on specific employee cases, in line with prevailing employment law. Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the firm's core values, using initiatives and communication measures, as appropriate and taking action to perpetuate and promote a positive corporate culture. Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the firm's Health and Safety policy and procedure, including communication, risk assessments etc. Responsibility for the relevant aspects of achieving the Investors in People or similar standard. |
