We have listed for you the complete range of support available with our HR Manager Service. You may select from these on a menu basis for delivery over the course of your agreement with us.

Employee Resourcing

Design and implementation of:

  • an effective resource plan to ensure the human resource needs of the firm are met
  • a system of job analysis and design to ensure effective productivity and fairness
  • a cost effective recruitment and selection system, which includes key elements such as person specifications and job descriptions, lawful contracts of employment and offers of employment, recruitment budget management and reporting, use of agencies or advertising media, implementation of competence based interviewing, recording information and conducting references in line with the company's policies and procedures
  • an integrated induction process
  • an absence management system
  • an employment termination process, which address the company's redundancy, retirement and dismissal responsibilities, including exit interviews, retention/turnover analysis and reporting
  • an effective system to ensure the correct management of maternity, paternity, family, emergency and other leave
  • a system to ensure the achievement of work life balance, including the observation of the Working Time Regulations and management of the company's flexi time system.

Employee Reward

Ensuring a system of fair pay, including the use of benchmarking and salary surveys, as required, and report to the Board accordingly

Instruction of Payroll in relation to salaries and other employee payments, including the implementation of a system to record and report on pay amendments and changes

Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the firm's pay band system

Management of a package of employee benefits, as required

Design and implementation of incentive schemes, as required, analysis for effectiveness and reporting to the Board


Employee Relations

Implementation of changes to employment policies and practices to ensure fairness and lawful conduct, including keeping the Board advised of forthcoming changes (and their impact) in employment law.

Facilitation of an environment to enable the achievement of the workforce consultation provisions.

Ensuring the creation and communication of an up to date organisational chart.

Adherence to the firm's communication strategy and implementation this in relation to the dissemination of employment related matters.

Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of employment policies with constructive use of the employment handbook and company intranet.

Implementation and maintenance of an effective discipline and grievance system in line with statutory provisions.

Conducting of regular staff surveys, as required.

Provision of advice on specific employee cases, in line with prevailing employment law.

Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the firm's core values, using initiatives and communication measures, as appropriate and taking action to perpetuate and promote a positive corporate culture.

Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the firm's Health and Safety policy and procedure, including communication, risk assessments etc.

Responsibility for the relevant aspects of achieving the Investors in People or similar standard.


Employee Development

Design and implementation of an effective performance management function including:

  • a system of competency measurement/a competency framework, as required
  • an appropriate appraisal system, including design of forms, systems, content, process etc.
  • a system of training needs analysis at individual level
