Milestones

  • 2009 Searchlight extends its product range to include Compliance Consultancy
  • 2009 Searchlight enters the Financial Services market with the introduction of the Retail Distribution Review
  • 2008 Searchlight becomes preferred training provider of the Chartered Insurance Institute
  • 2007 Searchlight moves to larger headquarters in Leatherhead
  • 2006 Searchlight becomes the first company to obtain the Accreditation of Training Excellence for Providers from the Financial Services Skills Council
  • 2005 Searchlight exhibits at BIBA and Insurance Age Expo conferences for the first time
  • 2005 Searchlight achieves Investors in People accreditation
  • 2004 Ian Jerrum joins full-time as managing director
  • 2003 Searchlight achieves critical mass and emerges as leading UK insurance training organisation
  • 2002 Searchlight takes on larger premises at Shaw House, Crawley
  • 2001 Ian Jerrum joins Searchlight as non-executive director
  • 2000 Strategic decision taken to concentrate on training and related consultancy services
  • 1999 Searchlight established by a team of experienced insurance people to provide specialist training, consultancy and recruitment services to the general insurance industry
