Introduction
This workshop is designed for people who are new to Private Medical Insurance or those who deal with private insurance as an additional class of business, rather than as their main specialist business, and are seeking to refresh their knowledge.
This is a one day workshop which by the use of exercises and case studies will be interactive and participative.

• outline typical Private Medical Insurance policy cover conditions, extensions and exclusions
• describe Private Medical Insurance underwriting methods and explain the difference between the medical underwriting and moratoria approaches to underwriting
• describe the Private Medical Insurance claims process
