With the launch of CheckPOINT we introduced the UK 's most advanced, comprehensive and user-friendly insurance assessment system - and unlike any other system on the market, CheckPOINT includes assessment on management and interpersonal skills as well as technical insurance skills. This reflects the FSA's repeated insistence that so called 'soft skills' are just as important as insurance skills in assessing the competence of an insurance firm's staff.

CheckPOINT includes far more assessment materials than any comparable system. Across each of 100 different topics, the system randomly selects 25 questions from a database of 70 questions for each topic. CheckPOINT is also unique in that its assessments are timed. Users have 30 minutes to answer 25 multiple choice questions, each with four possible answers. The system then generates a percentage score. Managers can then review each user's performance (on the most recent and previous assessments) to see where additional guidance or training may be required.

For an additional charge, CheckPOINT can also be own-branded for firms who wish to re-badge it with their own company name or product name.
